At first some words
March 2020It started with a little newspaper announcement in the Süddeutsche Zeitung.

The first date
May 2nd 2020After numerous e-mails and in the middle of the first lockdown, contrary to the contact restrictions, Stephanie and Matthias met in Ebersberg - a place that Matthias had avoided until now like the devil avoided holy water. (Ebersberg is not very much liked in Rosenheim - some even deny its existence). A hike around the local lake and on the observation tower where Matthias was reasonably aware of how bad he was in shape, broke the first ice.

The relationship
Mai 2020More and more activities followed, as well as getting to know each other intensively, and Matthias in particular was quickly and comprehensively introduced to the Eberle family. As soon as our couple had known each other for 3 weeks, Matthias already knew all of the relatives in the near and far area. All family celebrations were dealt with, a spontaneous vacation with friends and family Eberle was organized and Matthias was initiated in this way. What getting to know the relatives was on the one hand due to the crowd in a short time, was on the other hand a challenge due to the external circumstances. Because what could be a better endurance test than a trip in a Smart without air conditioning to the sunny and hot south of Italy.

The engagement
Summer 2020Matthias had organized a day full of knowledge, culture and enjoyment in order to ask for the hand of his Stephanie in a fitting and faithful manner at the beginning of this wonderful relationship. Salzburg therefore seemed to him the right place for it.
